SITUATION IN THE MIDDLE EAST: INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS CONTINUE
Aircalin confirms that all its flights and international connections will continue as normal, including the route between Nouméa, Bangkok and Paris.
Given the current geopolitical situation in the Middle East, the airline wishes to reassure its passengers, partners and authorities that its flight plans were adjusted as a precautionary measure at the beginning of February. In accordance with international aviation safety recommendations, these flight plans will be adjusted whenever necessary and notifications will be sent in the event of changes to schedules or routes.
Flights operated on this route currently follow a secure itinerary, widely used by international airlines, including overflights of parts of Afghanistan and Pakistan. These flight paths are subject to continuous monitoring and ongoing assessment in coordination with civil aviation authorities and international air traffic control organisations.
Information for customers currently travelling :
The flight schedule remains unchanged. Flight times and frequencies are guaranteed in accordance with the initial, secure operating plan. Any changes will be communicated to our customers in a targeted manner.
Sales network and customer support :
• Tickets issued by airlines other than Aircalin remain covered by the issuing airlines, in accordance with the applicable rules.
• Customers holding Aircalin 063 tickets with an itinerary including a flight number operated by Gulf airlines will be rerouted if necessary, with priority given to Aircalin itineraries, with changes at no extra cost.
• Aircalin teams are available to assist anyone who may be affected or stranded as a result of flight cancellations with any additional transport needs.

Aircalin is monitoring operations on an ongoing basis in order to adapt its routes in real time if necessary, in accordance with the most stringent international standards.
-Due to an operational adjustment necessary to ensure the flight schedule operates under the best safety conditions, the Sydney and Wallis flights on 19 February have been modified as follows:

From 04th of december 2025 to 05th of february 2026, in order to fully maintain its flight schedule, Aircalin has chartered a Boeing 777-200 from the European airline Euro Atlantic Airways, a European airline operating under the same regulations and standards as Aircalin (member of IATA, IOSA, and certified by EASA).
This aircraft will strengthen Aircalin's fleet, offering greater flexibility and reliability in its flight scheduling during this peak season. It will mainly operate flights between Noumea and Singapore, as well as a few routes to Sydney, for which the customers will be notified directly by email.
On board, service will be provided jointly by our Aircalin crew and that of Euro Atlantic Airways to guarantee you a quality experience in Hibiscus Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes.

Some elements of our onboard service are subject to change:
- The entertainment program proposed will be that of Euro Atlantic Airways, providing a wide selection of movies and TV shows. If you prefer to watch your own movies or TV shows, we invite you to download your content to your devices before boarding via your usual streaming platforms.
- Duty Free: the Aircalin Duty Free will be available on board. Only payment by systematic authorization credit card will not be accepted. Deferred authorization cards as well as cash (XPF, EUR, YENS, NZD, AUD, FJD, VUV, USD, SGD) and checks (XPF only) will be accepted.
- Aircalin Connect: The Wi-Fi connection will not be available on this aircraft.

Due to adjustments in our flight schedule, flights SB500 Nouméa–Bangkok–Paris and SB501 Paris–Bangkok–Nouméa, originally scheduled for September 6th, 2025, are currently being rescheduled.
As the revised timings are subject to airport slot approvals in Bangkok and Paris, they are still pending confirmation.
A new email with the updated schedule will be sent to affected passengers once confirmation is received, expected by the end of the day.

The aircraft scheduled to operate flight SB501 from Paris to Nouméa via Bangkok on August 2 is now back in service. Please note the new rescheduled times (times in local time):
- Departure from Paris: August 4 at 2:45 p.m. and arrival in Bangkok: August 5 at 7:35 a.m.
- Departure from Bangkok: August 5 at 9:40 a.m. and arrival in Nouméa: August 5 at 11:30 p.m.

Despite all efforts made, the aircraft has not yet been returned to service.
Our technical teams, in coordination with the manufacturer and specialized partners, are actively continuing the necessary repair work.
Flight SB501 is expected to be rescheduled from Paris-CDG on Monday, August 4, late in the morning, subject to confirmation.
The additional delay is mainly due to:
curfew restrictions at Paris-CDG airport, which limit authorized night-time departures,
and slot constraints at Bangkok airport, which complicate the rescheduling of the itinerary.

➡️ A further update will be provided as soon as the new departure time is confirmed.

The part required to complete the aircraft repair is still in transit. Under these circumstances, we are not yet in a position to confirm a new departure time for flight SB501.

Flight SB501, operated by Aircalin and initially scheduled to depart from Paris-CDG on August 2nd at 22:00, has been suspended due to a technical issue involving a safety component on the A330neo.
Our technical teams are fully mobilized to carry out the necessary repairs, and everything is being done to reschedule the flight within 24 hours.
The affected passengers are currently being assisted in Paris (accommodation, meals, support).
The new departure time will be communicated as soon as it is confirmed, and each passenger will receive their updated itinerary by email and SMS.

We would like to inform you that flights SB740 and SB741 on 11 July between Nouméa and Singapore have been delayed due to a crew constraint on the part of Hifly, with whom we have chartered an Airbus A330-300 during the scheduled maintenance of our A330neo aircraft.
Others flights operate as scheduled.
The new departure times are as follows :
- departure from Noumea on 11 July at 11.30 am
- arrival in Singapore on 11 July at 05:50 pm
- Departure from Singapore on 11 July at 07:30 pm
- Arrival in Noumea on 12 July at 07:25 am
